Philosophy.
For me, photography is about telling a story. I aim to document the beauty found in real life moments, those moments all too easy to look past in the hectic lives we all live. My hope with each client and session is to catch those candid interactions that elicit a feeling and emotion that is forever timeless. I am here to offer something different, not based on poses or time constraints.

My name is Jessica Amelia Milaney, I believe in following dreams, free time, and lots of family hang outs. I am many things, a mom, wife, nurse, educator, and documentarian. My family and I have recently moved to Revelstoke BC and I am so excited to set up as a Family photographer her in this beautiful town. I would consider myself an introvert but have recently fallen in love with photography and this has pushed me to new levels of "getting outside my shell". I have always thought about photography but never found real time to learn and grow, that is until the birth of my second child and a new years resolution. I have always been a creative person, and once again found this drive for that creative outlet. One thing I love about photography is that you will never run out of things to learn and with each session I find myself growing. I love surprising people with a gallery of images they never thought possible because their children didn't seem to take a minute to stop crying or sit still in front of the camera. I would find it a privilege to work with you and I do thank you for taking the time to look through my recent work.
